We are seeking a visionary Head of Product to lead the innovation and operational delivery of our flagship solutions, iRecall and OurVet.Shop. This pivotal role will shape our global product strategy, ensuring it aligns with Zoetis' business goals, enhances the customer experience, and delivers measurable value to veterinary practices worldwide.

As the Product Lead, you will collaborate with the Head of Software and Technology and oversee the Global Product Marketing and Delivery teams. You'll combine a deep understanding of software product management with a passion for the veterinary industry to drive product success from concept to delivery.

Organization Relationships

Provide the primary groups or key positions that this position will have interaction with as a regular part of the position responsibilities. Include any external interactions as appropriate.

Internal:

• Work in close collaboration with VR Leadership team, particularly Head of Development & Head of Support
• COE category management and other COE enabling teams
• In-market: mid-management leads (Head of Marketing / Product Managers / Head of Sales)
• ZTD business partners
• GCD category teams
• Some Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) / KSA customer facing interactions at management level (working with Virtual Recall's CKAM /Business Development Manager)

External:

• Manage commercial relationships with PiMs systems (circa 20 companies)
• Manage commercial relationships with 3rd party partners (e.g. Vetstoria / NVS wholesaler)

Resources Managed

Financial Accountability

• Responsible for Marketing Opex budget
• Responsible for the effective deployment of special project budgets both Capex & Opex

Supervision

• Total team 6 reports
• Two direct reports: Delivery Manager (contingent worker) & Global Product Marketing Manager who has 4 direct reports (Product Marketing Associate [permanent] and Message Template Developer, Project Manager, Assistant Marketing Manager [all contingent workers])

Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Veterinary Medicine.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the software industry, with experience in veterinary industry highly desirable.
• Experience working in a matrix organization is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience of leading highly performing teams
• It would be of significant benefit if the candidate had worked in veterinary practice (vet / veterinary nurse / practice manager) or a veterinary SaaS solution.

Technical Skills Requirement

Skills required:

• Strong understanding and proven track record of Agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder management: excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with veterinary practice management and workflows.
• Fluency in MS Office programmes, project management programmes (e.g. Trello/ MS Planner)

Physical Position Requirement

Zoetis supports a hybrid work environment.

Some UK based travel & overnight stays: external conferences and internal events (circa 2-3 times p.a.) International travel: quarterly basis Dublin and some other international travel will be required on an ad hoc basis
